Transportation Energy Partners (TEP) is assembling a dynamic and diverse Summit Committee to help guide the 2026 Energy Independence Summit (EIS26)—the nation’s leading forum for advancing clean fuels, clean vehicles, and sustainable transportation solutions.
We are seeking committed, collaborative, and visionary leaders from across the clean transportation space to co-create an impactful, bipartisan agenda that lifts up local innovation, drives federal action, and reflects the power of public-private partnership.

Who We're Looking For
We invite participation from across our ecosystem, including:
Whether you've been to every Energy Independence Summit or are new to the TEP network, your perspective is welcome.
- Clean Cities and Communities coalition staff and directors
- Clean transportation and clean fuels industry partners
- Nonprofit and advocacy organizations advancing sustainable mobility
- Local, state, and federal policymakers or agency staff
- Philanthropic leaders and foundation program officers
- Other clean energy and environmental justice stakeholders
Whether you've been to every Energy Independence Summit or are new to the TEP network, your perspective is welcome.
Committee Responsibilities
Committee members will:
Optional roles: Serve as a session moderator, host a state of regional spotlight, or co-lead an industry roundtable.
- Help shape EIS26's theme and core message
- Co-create session topics and recommend panelists and speakers
- Ensure representation across geographies, technologies, and communities
- Promote the Summit through your networks
- Participate in 6-10 virtual planning calls between August 2025 to February 2026
Optional roles: Serve as a session moderator, host a state of regional spotlight, or co-lead an industry roundtable.
Timeline
- Committee Application Deadline: Friday, August 15, 2025
- Kickoff Call: Week of August 25, 2025
- EIS26 Summit Dates: February 9-12, 2026 (Washington, DC)
